Abstract

Features of the transformation of trade and industrial policies in the world’s leading economies are investigated as a response to the new U.S. trade policy. The mechanisms of their adaptation are examined, namely the strengthening of protectionism, the development of domestic value chains, and the diversification of export strategies. Based on a synthesis of global experience, directions for the formation of Ukraine’s new trade and industrial policy are identified. For specialists in economics and international relations, as well as faculty and students at higher education institutions specializing in economics and the social sciences and humanities.
