Abstract

The relevance of the work is due to the rapid development of large language models and their implementation in all spheres of social life. This creates particular challenges in the field of science and education, where human intellectual abilities are of great importance. The paper analyzes modern tools of generative AI and the state of their implementation in the scientific and pedagogical field. It is shown that they are capable of solving complex problems, generating cognitive behavior and processing large volumes of context. However, the further implementation of generative AI requires reliable validation and the development of an appropriate regulatory framework, given that these tools demonstrate emergent behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the responsible use of generative AI in scientific and pedagogical activities and minimize cases of unexpected, and especially harmful, impact.
