Report on Ukraine for Result I: Water and soil management, greening, decarbonisation and digitalisation in agriculture in the context of adaptation to climate change (in Ukrainan)

The report examines Ukraine’s progress in implementing the EU Green Deal within the PROGRESS project, focusing on regulatory, technical and technological alignment in agriculture and horticulture. It analyses value chains for apples, raspberries, strawberries and walnuts, emphasising sustainable use of water, soil and energy resources and assessing the impact of full‑scale aggression. The study reviews irrigation systems, soil and land‑use regulation, environmental practices in horticultural processing, and the integration of renewable energy sources. It also evaluates the digitalisation of Ukrainian agriculture. Based on international and domestic best practices, the report provides recommendations for resource management, irrigation restoration, soil recovery, decarbonisation and digital transformation.
